The inception for the Church was in January 2000, when God gave then,
Evangelist Smith a vision for “The Church” which she then founded and
organized in February of 2001.  

In 2004 Pastor Smith began Bible Study and Ministerial courses in her
home and on August 7th, 2005, the vision was birthed.  “The Church” shall
find and do the will of God through the leadership of His Holy Spirit in
compliance with the whole counsel of His to be presented in Christ, and in
preparing “The Church” to become the pure and spotless bride for whom
Christ is soon returning.

"The Church" is a non-denominational Church; we are an Apostolic
Pentecostal Church.  We are Apostolic because of the teachings (Doctrine)
of Jesus Christ to the Apostles; and Pentecostal because of the
Pentecostal experience (in filling of the Holy Ghost) on the Day of
Pentecost (Acts 2:4).  The plan of salvation is the new birth; being born of
the water (Acts 2:38, 4:12) and of the Spirit (Acts 2:4) is summed up in
Luke 24:44-49.

"The Church" is dedicated to reaching and the discipleship of un-reached
and un-Churched people through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as
providing a Christian venue for children, young people and young adults
and the elderly, so as to build the individual and families and empower
Believers.

Through our Gilgal Ministerial Courses "The Church" provides mentoring
in Ministry classes, ministerial licensing and ordination courses which
prepares ministers and lay-people (the laity) for the work of the ministry.

“The Church” extends her arms to people of all ages as well as from all
walks of life.
